The term “in-mold labeling” relates directly to printing technique: IML consists of a pre-printed polypropylene label applied to a mold in the shape of the final product, like a cup or container. The polypropylene sticks to the mold, then fuses with the label, and the container and the label become one.
Transparent labelling that allows great dynamicity in the kind of container and promotional product you create, so you can play around with showing off what’s inside your container.
This kind of IML consists of multi-layer substrate with a polypropylene foam in the middle. Thanks to high temperatures and pressure, part of the air is pushed out of the substrate during the process, creating the “orange peel” effect as a result.
Capture your client’s attention with this metallic look, and make your container stand out from the rest.
Glow in the Dark technology allows the decoration on your container to shine brighter and longer. We also have colorful options for greater variety in your brand’s design.
We can give a shiny gloss effect to your chosen design on plastic containers using a High Gloss IML finish, making your colors look even more intense.
Another kind of IML derived from the High Gloss finish, a Thick High Gloss finish can be used on harder, more durable materials, creating a product that will last for years in your clients’ hands.
We get the lenticular effect by printing two images at the same time on the surface of a reusable plastic container, but you can only see each one oat a certain angle, creating the illusion of movement.
Unlike IML, offset printing uses a traditional label that is not as strong or durable, ideal for single use products or materials.
